Introducing Interactive Minds

Announcing Interactive Minds, Queensland’s premier networking event for online & interactive professionals and entrepreneurs.

We seek to stimulate the talented Queensland online & interactive community by connecting people, sharing ideas and inspiring creativity.

“Queensland has no other regular event forum dedicated only to interactive and online professionals,” says Jen Storey, co-founder of Interactive Minds. “We have a wealth of talent across the state and especially in the South East corner, yet there has been no way for everyone to connect and share ideas.”

“Having spent time both living and working in the Sydney market it was apparent that Queensland lacked many of the formal networking and ongoing educational opportunities for online and interactive professionals that are available down south,” says Louisa Dahl, co-founder of Interactive Minds”.

“We believe that people shouldn’t have to travel interstate to network and learn about this industry. There are companies doing great work in Queensland and we want to help to continually raise the bar by providing opportunities for learning and shared experiences amongst online and interactive professionals,” says Ms Dahl.

Interactive Minds is for anyone who has an interest in the online, digital or interactive community, including business owners and entrepreneurs. Anyone in marketing, public relations, communication, design, development, content creation, customer service and beyond is welcome.

“We have interest from professionals working across Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and other regional areas. It’s very exciting to be receiving support from online professionals across established corporate teams, small online businesses, agencies and start ups all seeking a place to connect in the real world,” says Ms Storey.

Events are being held in the Brisbane CBD, close to public transport and parking stations to allow for easy access from all parts of Brisbane and the surrounding areas.

The first Interactive Minds event will be held on September 24 commencing at 8am at the Grant Thornton Building in Adelaide Street Brisbane. The kickoff event focuses on ‘Measuring Success Online – Beyond the Click’.

Representatives from Australia’s largest online real estate portal, Realestate.com.au and leading web analytics company, Omniture will be speaking. Participants will also be given the opportunity to network and meet other people in the industry. Tickets are $49.50 (breakfast included) and are available online now from www.interactiveminds.com.au.

The October event takes a close look at What Customers Want – covering everything from customer experience, customer service and customer centric design.
