Want to know...

  • How do you shake up the saturated (and boring) world of selling T-Shirts online?
  • How do you get a company like CUA to embrace change and commit to putting resources into Facebook, iPhone apps and new websites?
  • How do you use Facebook to get people excited about buying a fridge?
  • How to get women to talk about their underwear and accumulate a mass of user generated content?

Find out what it took, how it unfolded, plus the results and key learnings. We’ll be covering a broad cross section of digital campaigns; everything from campaigns to site relaunches.

Don’t miss this great opportunity to learn from your peers digital campaign experience!

John Winning
John Winning
CEO, Appliances Online

There's very few online retailers that couldn't learn a thing or two from Appliances Online. Whether it's how to get people excited about fridges on Facebook or simply how to create an online shopping experience that doesn't suck - Appliances Online set the gold standard and will be sharing some of their methods with us.

About John

At just 27, John Winning is one of Australia’s youngest CEOs and the founder of Appliances Online, a multi-million dollar online retailer he started in 2005.

Appliances Online is now Australia’s largest online retailer of appliances. Between 2005 and 2011 more than 150,000 unique customers have purchased from the company. In the last 12 months, it has increased its customer base by 50% and total revenue by 100%. Appliances Online also has a Facebook community of more than 170,000 (and growing every day).

Made In The Now
Made In The Now
Daily Designs Inspired By Breaking News

Made In The Now (MITN) will showcase how they have experimented with new forms of retail, and developed a highly engaging business model that combines the flexibility of online with the immersive experience of bricks and mortar.

It's the first retail concept whose product keeps pace with digital trends. Not happy with just having a website, the MITN iPhone app is also cutting edge in terms of mobile retail. More than two thirds of people with the app look at the new design when it comes through at 2pm each day - no other Australian retailer interacts with their customers like this.

About Made In The Now
Made in the Now, an online t-shirt design studio and retail store, with a difference was launched in mid-2011. Driven by trends of a different kind, MITN designs are produced every 24 hours and are inspired by a top of mind news story of the day. All the t-shirts are printed locally, only producing what has been ordered and using efficient, reusable packaging.

Ushering in a new wave of responsible retail, MITN offers customers a dose of global news, great design and responsible production, all in one meaningful little tee.

Women's underwear is big business, but if 70% of your customer base isn't happy with their body shape, how do you engage in a way that is positive, respectful and generates BUZZ? Triumph recently ran very successful Art of Shaping campaign which dealt with all these problems and will be sharing how they did it.

About Nathan

Nathan currently heads up BCM’s Interactive Strategy offering, working with clients such as Triumph International, QUT, Wallace Bishop, Sunny Queen Farms, Parmalat, Sunsuper, Donut King, Brumby's, Michel's Patisserie, Origin and the Queensland Government.

A key part of Nathan’s role involves keeping both clients and staff informed of the latest online and social media developments as new web and online opportunities constantly evolve.
